To those who left comments in the last week or so: thank you, and I really meant to write you all back this evening. But my site mail is on the fritz—probably just as well, as I'm leaving for WLC at Ft McCoy in just a few hours. Sleep, it turns out, is good.

Ah, well...part of the reason I've been absent from the site is that I'm working on a direct commission packet. So if everything goes according to plan in a few months I'll be a bemused and not-so-young 2LT.

But when no one is looking, you won't have to salute, Kofol.
