So much for my staying away from politics.

Earlier this week, John Kerry was inteviewed on MTV. This is yet another case of Kerry stealing Bill Clinton's playbook, and it worked about as well as his attempt to anoint himself as the second black president.

Key quote:

I mean, there are countless numbers of things that we could be doing to enhance the world's view of us and to minimize the kind of anger and … almost recruitment that has taken place in terrorist organizations as a result of the way the administration has behaved.

“Almost” recruitment. Is that sorta like almost having cancer?

There are root causes arguments, lame root causes arguments, and root cause arguments so fatuous that one's reasoning ability drops precipitously from just listening to them. This falls into the last category.
